Who can play

Public registration is for adults aged 18 or over. You confirm that when you sign up. The game is not marketed at children.

The game

DoppelUp delivers email that looks like your teammate and, sometimes, is not. You reply to play. Delivery depends on your email provider and ours. We don't promise that every message arrives instantly, or that an AI outage cannot delay a turn. Failed turns are retried or shown to an operator. They are not silently discarded on purpose.

Behaviour

Don't use the game to threaten, phish, harass, or send illegal content. We can suspend an account, block invitations, and end a game. We do not promise round-the-clock moderation.

Credits and price

One credit starts one two-player game. The invited person plays that game for free. New accounts receive 2 credits after verification, once. Each player receives 1 credit after their first completed game, once.

The standard pack is 10 credits. While the launch offer is switched on, the same price also includes 5 bonus credits. The price charged is the live Stripe price, shown before you pay. There is no countdown and no claim that stock is running out.

Credits have no cash value and are not transferable. A credit reserved for an invitation comes back if the invite expires unaccepted or we cancel before play. It is not automatically returned if you abandon a game after it has started. Statutory consumer rights, including any cooling-off rights that apply to digital content, are not excluded. Write to support@doppelup.com about a refund.

Suspension and ending

We can suspend accounts and pause new free games to stay inside the experiment's cost envelope. Games already underway are meant to finish. Paid games can continue when that is still operationally safe.

Liability

The game is a beta experiment. Don't send secrets, credentials, or anything you would mind an email provider, an AI provider, or an authorised administrator seeing. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit. Disputes can be raised with support@doppelup.com before anyone has to escalate further.
